The Wayside Chapel

Wayside Walks hosted by Andrew Windsor

Ever wondered what it's like to be homeless?

The Wayside Chapel is hosting an evening tour that goes into the nooks and crannies of Kings Cross to help people to understand what it's like to live on the streets of Sydney.

The tour host is Wayside employee and former rough sleeper, Andrew Windsor, who draws on his own experiences of homelessness and addiction to provide people with a rare insight into street life.

The tour is unlike any you‘ll ever find in a guide book. It takes people around Kings Cross, Elizabeth Bay and Darlinghurst where Andrew points out spots of significance along the way – the places where he slept and ate, other charities that are in the area and moments of how he came to know Wayside so well.
